Project Midgard integrates commercial forestry, conservation, and ecological restoration within a single operating landscape.
Commercial forestry provides a long-term economic foundation, while dedicated conservation and restoration areas strengthen biodiversity outcomes, ecosystem resilience, and carbon sequestration.
This mosaic approach is designed to generate sustainable commercial returns while delivering meaningful environmental value through carbon removal, habitat restoration, and conservation outcomes.

Our model
Commercial forestry forms the productive core.
Conservation areas, restoration zones, biological corridors, and riparian buffers are integrated throughout the project to support biodiversity, protect waterways and enhance ecosystem function.
Shared infrastructure, including access roads, firebreaks, monitoring, and active land management, supports the whole landscape and local job creation.
Intense stakeholder engagement programs support local community initiatives developed in partnership with local authorities and community representatives.
Progress to date
Phase One is converting more than 16,000 hectares of degraded cattle land into commercial plantations and protected conservation areas.

Project Midgard operates under a comprehensive Environmental and Social Management System (ESMS) that integrates environmental, social and operational risk management throughout the project lifecycle.
In addition to local regulatory requirements, the project aligns with internationally recognized frameworks and standards, including:
