Gerrit Ewers

Gerrit is Senior Investment Manager of Hannover Rück SE, one of the world's largest reinsurers. He is responsible for ESG investments, in particular investment screening, project management, due diligence and contract negotiations. Before joining Hannover Re, he was an investment manager at Siemens Project Ventures GmbH, after joining as a financial analyst in the renewable and fossile energy sector.

Gerrit holds a Master's degree in international macroeconomics of the University of Tübingen, Germany and studied Brazilian literature and linguistics at Universidade Federal Fluminense, Rio de Janeiro, Brazil.
