Carlos Montanía

Carlos has 25 years of experience across several multinational companies in the agricultural sector, having worked for Cargill for more than 10 years. He was Country Manager for Black River Asset Management (Cargill’s internal private equity fund) for over five years, enabling several successful exits; General Manager of Group Agrofuturo Paraguay SA and CFO of Terminal Occidental SA. Carlos has a wealth of management experience as CEO, CFO and COO, with specialist knowledge of land acquisition and management in Paraguay, business transformation and financial reporting to foreign investors.

He holds a Lic. Contabilidad and a Lic. Administración de Empresas, Universidad Católica de Asunción (1996, 98)
